    Error: Sparse file not allowed

    Installed Mint 13 Mate with BTRFS and received this error on reboot followed by: press any key to continue...

    I wonder if this install would work better even if it is not with LMDE:

    I am using an SSD drive and wanted to pursue any features to aid in minimal writes & longevity. For extra credit, feel free to mention strong partitioning schemes as I am still open to suggestions prior to new SSD install.
