Plain and simple:
If I'm still using 10.04LTS, while getting familiar with 12.04LTS on dual, or triple boot; Do I need separate swaps? How many swaps do I need for multiple Ubuntu installs?
Thanks

no one swap partition is all you need
Nope, if you're happy to manually partition, you can share swap space between multiple *buntus, multiple distros, and even completely separate OSs. See here: http://unix.stackexchange.com/questi...swap-partition
Ok, thank you both
