Maximum Memory for Pangolin Performance 4 (PANP4)

    Hi,

What is the maximum amount of memory that I can put in Pangolin Performance 4 (PANP4)?

    Thank you

Ssytem 76 told me that it was 16GB on the GazP7 I just received (2 8 G B 1600 SO-DIMMS). So I expect your limit to be the same. Some of the Clevo laptops sold by Sager go to 32 ( 4 8GB DIMMS) but I can confirm the MOBO on my Gazp7 has only 2 slots.

No, I had panp5n in 2009 and it came with 4GB of RAM. I think the maximum was 8GB, but the price was ridiculous at the time. Panp4 will not go above 8GB, but it may be less than that.

I stand corrected. I misread and thought it was the current shipping PanP.

i have a panp4 and have asked this question. Here's what support said:

"The PanP4 can use two sticks of DDRII (DDR2) 667MHz/ 800MHz and supports 2 gigs stick for a maximum of 4 gigs supported on the machine."

Yup, I've been told by a few folks at S76 that the PanP4 and PanP5, which is what I have, max out at 4 gigs of Ram. Sad since I really need more ram, but oh well.
