Can't create user 'Outbox' in Evolution on 12.04

Hi all,

As the title says. Frustrating. I have installed Xubuntu 12.04 LTS on my wife's Compaq 610 and everything 'just worked'. Fantastic. But she's an Evolution fan and that is no longer the default email client.

So we install Evolution, create her account, that is all working, mail in and mail out. But under her user there is no Outbox. We've tried everything and there seems no way to create one. We managed to create another one, Sent I think, but it created it inside the Inbox directory! Hmmm.

The other odd thing is that there is no .evolution directory I can find. I uninstalled and installed again but not different.

All ideas welcome.

Anybody? I'm not an Evolution fan but apparently that Outbox is real handy and a must have!

Create a new user account and then start Evolution and see what happens once it is configured.

Did that. Can't create an Outbox. I have the user configured, up and running, mail in and out. I've deleted, recreated on a couple of times. But no Outbox. I think it is something like a Drafts folder. I don't know, don't use Evolution myself.

I'll delete all users and try again but don't hold out much hope. Cheers.
