Can't execute binaries, and can't open any file properties dialog

Hello,

I installed Lubuntu back in november (11.10) and recently updated to 12.04.

Prior to some update, I have always been able to execute SublimeText and Aptana Studio, but now I can't.

I just double-clicked the executable file and it ran, but now it just nothing happens.

I tried to right-click the executable to open the file-properties dialog, but it doesn't open. (The dialog appears, but when clicking on the 'Properties' option nothing happens).

I also tried to download filezilla, that it has the same extract-and-run "process", and it happens the same than with the other 2 programs.


I don't know what to do. Trying to find something like this in google or any forum, returns other results not related to this problem.

Does any one know what could be this problem?

Well, it has been fixed by some system update, apparently...
