    Hi

There's not really anything in the logs to suggest what the problem may be. That may point to a hardware problem.

    Some things to check.

    1. Check the temperature using sensors. Make sure the shutdown is not due to overheating.

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install lm-sensors
    Code:
    sensors-detect
    Code:
    sensors
you can also install the sensors daemon to log the temp data.

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install sensord
    then to get the temps

    Code:
    grep sensord /var/log/syslog
2 Run a memory test to make sure the problem is not with bad memory. Run the test overnight.

Run this from the GRUB menu.

    3. Run a SMART test on your hard drive and check the SMART status after.

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install smartmontools
    Code:
    sudo smartctl -t long /dev/sdX
where X is the drive letter.

After it has finished - it can take a while:

    Code:
    sudo smartctl -a /dev/sdX
    4. Try using the nvidia drivers instead of the nouveau drivers.

You can do this from the additional drivers window.

Thankyou im going to try it. So its no kernel problem? I think its inside the video drivers, so first try that. Its not a heat problem i checked that. Ram should be fine did a test before. Ill let you know what haappends. Ill install windows too to see what happends if it has the same problem. Than it would definetly be a hardware issue. You have any idea how i can check if my power supply is strong enough, has enough watts.

    Hi

I do suspect hardware at the moment as nothing is being written to any logs.

I would use a standard multimeter to check the voltages of the power supply.

Can you swap out components looking for one that may be causing you the problem
