You can add XBMC to Steam as a 3rd party app and launch it from there. Not exactly what you want but it works.

If it's the same as when they ported games to the Mac then no, you won't.
Your license will be good for all platforms.

(I'm just guessing here though).

Only on SteamPlay titles (most are). Some games require you to buy 2 copies, like COD: Black Ops for example.
