Unhappy 12.04 and font rendering in Firefox

    Hi Ubuntu Community,

I have just installed a fresh Ubuntu 12.04, after 2 years of Ubuntu 10.04. My main problem is about font rendering in Firefox (and also Thunderbird). I have many screenshots of what it looked liked with Ubuntu 10.04 so it's easy to compare :

    Ubuntu 10.04

    And now with Ubuntu 12.04:

As you can see, it's much more blurry with Ubuntu 12.04.

Do you have an idea how I can have the same rendering as on Ubuntu 10.04?

    OK, I've solved this problem.

    1) sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer ubuntu-tweak gsfonts-x11
    2) System Settings > Ubuntu Tweaks > Fonts, hinting to "moderate" and antialiasing to "greyscale"
    3) restart computer
