    Noob to Ubuntu

I have installed the latest version of Ubuntu onto my old Win XP machine and I have to say that I am impressed. The only reason I installed it is because the computer decided to kill off XP and I couldn't replace or repair it. Ubuntu takes up less space than XP and is more user friendly and open source. I now plan to put Ubuntu onto a old laptop but it hasnt got a cd drive, is there a way to put it onto it with a pen drive?

    Hi

    Take a look at Unetbootin

    http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/

It will do just what you want and is available for Linux, Windows and Mac.

It may also be available in the repositories (but i'm not sure).

    Kind regards
