    SIGSEGV on NVIDIA causes reboots

    Aloha all,

I have a problem (along with hundreds of other people) that the 3.* kernel along with NVIDIA causes SIGSEGV errors on the machine, causing frequent reboots.

It appears to only affect me on high graphics programs, but in today's times that describes everything a computer is good for.

Anyone else managed to find a decent solution to this monstrous problem?

This may not be directly related to the colord thing (as the Ubuntu crash report claims), as I removed it and it still crashes the same way.

It is NOT a hardware or overheating problem of any kind.
