BS player is a windows-only app. It might be possible to get it working with Wine, but why when there are so many movie players available in Ubuntu - like VLC, Totem etc...

Thanks for your reply. And I like BS Player because this player automatically search subtitles for movies on start of the movie.

Install vlc media player, and then follow this tutorial:

Then you can make vlc searching for subs too
