i have this problem before on ubuntu 10.10/10.04,maverick meercat, where in the software center nothing shows up when you click all software but things show up when you click ,provided by ubuntu, is there any way of sorting it into the all software catagory?
i have done

sudo apt-get update
and upgraded everything in synaptic but it still wont show up in all software and that makes it really hard to install things easily like ,e.g Audacios or games etc
