Bricked Router tftp

Hi earlier this week i attempted to upgrade my routers firmware. I downloaded the wrong firmware and now my linksys wrt310n V1 is bricked. I was trying to use tftp but when i put in the command "put firmware.bin" it says No such file or directory. Is there anyway to correct this?

I think you'd be more likely to find an answer on a linksys forum.

http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=54817 is about recovering a bricked router, but it looks rather involved to me.
