blank screen after installing adobe flash player

hi i am running ubuntu 12.04 on acer aspire 7000 and when i install adobe flash player my laptop wont boot, the screen becomes blank before it gets to login screen. my computer dual boots ubuntu with windows 8 and every time i had to reinstall the ubuntu system since it wont boot after adobe flash player istallation.
please help i dont want to quit using youtube.

You mean it won't boot at all? Or just not into ubuntu?

Did you install the "restricted extras"? How much space did you give Ubuntu? Have you considered Mint 13?
