I'm trying to design an app with Quickly - at the moment, more playing around than anything else. I've created the basic template/directory, but when I use Quickly design, Glade opens, loads the files, and then immediately closes. When I use Glade from KRunner / Kickoff, Glade starts fine and stays open. I've googled my problem; as well as searched both the forums and AskUbuntu. I'm beginning to think I should just use Qt - which I prefer anyway - but I was hoping to learn about Quickly, which seems interesting and convenient. Has anyone else had a similar problem / do you know of any solutions?
It should be noted that Unity is no longer installed on my system, as it really screwed up KWin when I first installed it; most of the problems seem to have been fixed except for cosmetic bugs. My OS is Kubuntu 12.04 64bit
Edit: re-checked the guidelines sticky, realised this is probably more for "Development and Programming" than this forum.
