    java command history

    Hoping someone can help with this,

    I run minecraft server, I used to be able to connect to the console and scroll through commands like bash history. Now I can't, I've setup a New ubuntu install and copied server files over and the history works.

    So it's something on my machine ~ I've just no idea what, tried with openJDK and java version "1.7.0_05"

    I think it maybe related to jline but from what I can tell it's installed

    was due to custom ~/.inputrc
