    Browser customization question

    Hi,

I want to customize a browser in a way that it is locked to one singe URL and there will be no address bar where people can type in anything else (like www.google.com).

This is meant to make a online collaboration website look like an app in a customized browser window. The office people will not mess around, need no password because it is saved, just open browser and start working.

Is this possible to do with any of the browsers found in the Ubuntu repositories?

    Thanks!

    Re: Browser customization question

i did see a web browser provide the function of web app mode, but i dont know if that was because someone had tweaked it to behave such a way.
    Code:
    midori
Epiphany has a web app mode
    Code:
    epiphany-browser

    Re: Browser customization question

    Black Veils,

thank you for the reply. I have been playing around with epiphany, and am pretty much satisfied.

Customized the app launcher in Panel so that most people would not believe it is actually a web browser.
