    KFA2 GeForce GT640 2048MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card

    I'm considering buying a KFA2 GeForce GT640 2048MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card. Can anyone confirm it'll work under Ubuntu?

Support for the card was added in the latest nvidia driver (295.53). You either need to use the x-swat PPA or use Ubuntu 12.10: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates

    Question Re: KFA2 GeForce GT640 2048MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Hey Spongebob did you get this card working?

    I'm considering buying gigabyte version.

Have you tried setting up more then 2 monitors with it?
I am looking to run my 4 displays off it under ubuntu? edit - ignore this as i just looked and KFA2 version only has 3 display outputs
Hoping it works straight out of the box

Have you done much with multi monitor setups? If so would you recommend ATI or Nvidia?

    Hammo

if not i'll look into this one
