I'll add this voice to the crowd: yes, they are worth it. Far more secure with one than without, unless you have a photographic memory. KeePass and K-P-X seem good to me - reliable. But I use another program that is worth mentioning. Treepad Business edition. The business edition permits encryption. Since I used this before KeePass was around, I've stuck with it. I can organize things heirarchically, which helps to find things when you've got a couple hundred logins. It is a Windows paid-for program, but it works on linux (with wine), and I don't mind paying for it every 5 or 6 years.
