    you have the clamav it´s free but only detect malwares for windows and ubuntu
    the ubuntu virus i´ts rare becouse if you dont use the root the malware only infect the user and not system

    I recommend you read the links in my signature to get started. Also take a look at the security sticky in this forum.

    There are no viruses out on the interwebz for Linux. Therefore, any linux Anti-Virus program will be scanning for Windows viruses. And windows viruses won't affect a Linux machine (unless you take extra measures to execute it or you're using Wine). However, that doesn't mean that you're free and clear of all threats. The links will help you understand how to manage the common threats to Linux computers.
