Spilled the Beans
have a p3 700 MHz memory 256 ram os ubuntu 9.04. problem is i don't no how to extract and install flash. and get my mitsumi cr-4804te and liteon cd Rom ctm 485s to work. also i am a big fan of opera need to install it. new at this so i need a very description on what to do. have lubuntu on hand but i want to see if i can resolves this.

You can install flash from the Ubuntu Software Center. You can also install it from Firefox in the Add-on Section.
Otherwise try going to Terminal and typing 'Sudo apt-get install flashplugin'
