    Anyone know a fix? thanks.

Also when I try to install LIMBO i get this error:
limbo: Depends: limbo-bin (= 1.0-0ubuntu4) but 1.0-0ubuntu4 is to be installed

I'm using Natty by the way. 11.04
Do these games only work with the latest Ubuntu? Is that my issue?
I managed to successfully download Bastion from USC last night but I went from 12.04->11.10 and was was getting this tonight. I downloaded the .sh file from the site and ran that instead of using USC and it installed fine.

My co-worker would say that he didn't like USC and after trying to use it to get the Humble Bundle games I think I see some reasons to dislike it.

Worked perfectly out of the box on 12.04 for me. i3 and Radeon here. I have downloaded all games from USC so that leaves psychonauts atm.

The only problem I found is with Lone Survivor, the game controls don't work in fullscreen, but I think it is more of game or flash issue. Easy to work around by maximizing the window and zooming in!

My resolution is correct when running in full screen, it's just that the picture is offset, it's very strange. Anyway, I am now running it with the -windowed flag and it's fine like that. Now if I can just work out how to collect those jigsaw pieces that seem impossible to get...

Psychonauts is now in USC, but not yet in the redeeming page.

I tried the Psychonauts version, but even with the patch it was unplayable because of crashing bugs.

I tried running the Windows version through WINE, but it gives me a message saying that I need DirectX9c, but I should already have it (I already installed it using winetricks to play Limbo). Any suggestions?

Wait a little bit more and install it from USC.

Edit: Oops, I oversaw something... Are you really still running Karmic Koala? If you are, I'd advice you to first upgrade to 12.04 and share with us the comfort of USC.

No, I have 12.04. The forum just won't let me change it because it claims I have less than 50 posts even though I clearly have more :/

I think HIB may be using a non-standard definition of "platform independent".
I think Limbo and Bastion are both wrapped in wine. - they both run well on my system.

Bastion uses MonoGame, which is similar to Wine in that it attempts to implement a cross-platform version of an originally Windows-only API. Mono targets .NET specifically however, whereas Wine is more general. Bastion is also not the first Humble Indie Bundle game to use Mono, while Limbo is the first to use Wine.

Anyway, the most recent build of Limbo works fine for me too. The original build had no sound.

I haven't been able to add Bastion to Software Center yet, and I don't want to bother with installing the version from the HIB-page, so I don't know how well it runs.
