    Sidebar Gadgets In 12.04

    Hi, I saw someone's desktop in another thread. My question is how do I get those gadgets on my desktop? I'm running Ubuntu 12.04.

    That is Conky in the screen shot. The basic program can be added from the software center and you can find scripts at Gnome Look.org

    The exact configuration used was Conky-Colors. Follow the instructions of the page to customize it to your need.
