Question Ubuntu Standalone Windows XP Home Installer

Is there a Standalone Windows XP Home Ubuntu Installer?
I am trying to put Ubuntu on an older PC and have no Internet Connection attatched to it. I need a Standalone Installer that can be run from cd.

Where can I find the correct 32 bit Installer download?

*Using Wubi.exe & Stuck at "iso can not be downloaded" error due to lack of internet connection on the PC.

Download the .iso from Ubuntu's official website using a computer that has Internet connection, then have Wubi use that image instead.

To add to zombifier's reply you don't even need to burn it to a iso if you don't want to because you can mount it using a program such as daemon tools lite or virtual clone drive. Since Wubi is already on the cd, all you have to do is run it from the mounted iso.

Is this the right site? If so, what download is right for me?

Use the Desktop CD. Then depending on your board, choose 32bit or 64bit. If unsure, just go for 32bit.

Re: Ubuntu Standalone Windows XP Home Installer

Sorry for my noobish post. I may have been confusing.

Here is what I have done:
Downloaded wubi.exe onto my Stock Samsung Stratosphere [SCH-I405] sdcard
Transferred wubi.exe to my PC via Usb cable
Installed and ran wubi.exe and had errors due to no internet.

If I use a different PC with internet, where is the Url to the .iso download I need on my WinXp w/ Service Pack 3?

and, if I put that iso file to disc, then run wubi.exe will it find it on my cd-rom drive?

Searching Help & Tutorials has lead me in only circles.

There is no XP specific version of Wubi and what ISO you choose depends weather you have A 32 or 64 bit processor.

Wubi.exe will be on the CD drive and will usually be on the autoplay prompt as well.

You can also use Magicdisc which is an iso loaded reader mounter. It is found on beta news download section. Very easy to install and use.
