    Maybe you're right I remember having "kinetic scrolling" with a mouse in Unity 2D, but it didn't use GTK, so maybe GTK can't do it. But it shows that it's technically possible to have a nice kinetic scrolling with a mouse, so hopefully sooner or later it will be possible in GTK as well...

    Nup. It only works with the laptop thingy multi touch gesture thingy and touch screens. It's made for touch screens.

    Btw - I remember I had a mouse once the had the option to turn off the 'clicking' of the mousewheel.

    I think it was a Logitech something...
