Any one playing Guild Wars 2 / tips

I am playing the guild wars 2 beta in wine any one else playing ?
seems to work okay in wine on 12.04 the only issues i hit was the downloader would crash every now and then but once in the game seems to run perfectly.

Also any tips on improving performance playing on two machine one with radeon the other with nvidia but the fps are a bit low, already add nodebug option into wine.

Also any ubuntu / linux guilds been created ?

hi. Another player here. But, I would not worry about any fps drops yet. The game engine is yet to be optimised to access gpu. The game lags even on very high end PCs running windows.

Maby we should form a linux guild

So, just curious, how did you get Guild Wars 2 to run on Ubuntu? Is it pretty much the same process as Guild Wars 1?
