    Please try this:
    Code:
    sudo gedit /etc/rc.local
    Add two lines above 'exit 0':

    modprobe ath9k
    echo "168c 0032" >> /sys/bus/pci/drivers/ath9k/new_id
    Proofread, save and close. Now does it work automatically on boot?

    There are easier ways to do this: Ubuntu 12.04LTS, for example.
