    Exclamation 12.04 broke dnsmasq

I have had dnsmasq as the network's DNS cacher and forwarder along with allocating all the DHCP. I upgrade the server to 11.10 and dnsmasq is no longer returning DNS queries.

I DO NOT have network manager installed.

Any suggestions? I've tried reinstalling dnsmasq and trying all sorts of configuration settings.

    EDIT:

execution via sudo /etc/init.d/dnsmasq start causes dnsmasq to just 'not work'.

execution via command line sudo dnsmasq causes it to work perfectly. I'll go bash up a script for startup now....

    EDIT2:

Ahh, in /etc/defalt/dnsmasq the resolvconf setting needed uncommenting so that it IGNORES THE NEW resolvconf system
