Hi,
I'm wondering why the recovery mode doesn't start on my laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad E420); Ubuntu 11.10 work perfect, but the recovery mode crash my laptop. I tried running the recovery from different kernels, but no change. The only message I see when I run recovery mode is this:
Code:
Loading Linux 3.0.0-17-generic ...
Loading initial memory disk ...
Then I get a black screen. I wait for like 10 minutes, nothing happen, and I have to shut down my laptop using the Power button.
Here's my GRUB.CFG file, is that can help:
Code:

Is there a way to fix this, or is it a incompatibility with my laptop? Pretty annoying, since the Recovery mode really can save Ubuntu if it fail to boot.. :S
Thanks for the help!
