As well, I get the following output (Don't even need Pastebin):
I'd appreciate it. My focus is not that it fails on boot; we know that. My focus is what does or doesn't work as expected when you re-install the driver that we need to fix. So, once again, pastebin, please.

I'm confused to what you need.
Do you want the output that you requested, the entire output given, or the entire terminal copied?
The driver now (for some reason) boots on launch, where it didn't before, even with ndiswrapper in /etc/modules.

Hi, I run an usb-installer of Backtrack5 on a notebook with Intel Centrino Advanced -N 6230 but it doesn't recognize it. I tried with an external usb Netgear network card (WNDA3100) but nothing happened. I wanna use it in live mode only, so I can't install anything. Could I add network card driver packages on some Bcktrack folders in my usb?

    Thank you.

Are there any errors or warnings?
    Code:
    ndiswrapper -l
    dmesg | grep ndis

    Thank you, chili555.

I went through this thread for nearly a day, playing around with a whole host of variables.
    And Bob's your Aunty - it's working.

Oh, by the way, my distro is 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, not 10.04,

Re: Netgear WNDA 3100 v2 wireless adapter -- How to install?

    Hey,

I tried a few guides on here where others have been helped. My Ubuntu keeps saying ndiswrapper is not a command.

I presumed I had to then install this ndiswrapper, which i attempted through the Terminal and it failed.

So how can I install the drivers for WNDA 3100 v2?

I can't access the Router on the Pc with Ubuntu as it's downstairs, so the pc has no internet connection.

Please help. I hate Windows and don't want to reinstall as the pc is mainly a HTPC and i just want it for XBMC (tried openelec but found the installation process too complicated)

    Thanks.

    Steven
