    12.04 VGA Splitter Dual-Screen Support Issue

    Hi,
    I have an issue with Ubuntu 12.04 and dual-screen support. The graphic card is an Intel 82G965 integrated graphics controller. I have connected two screens using a VGA splitter cable with one computer.
    The problem is now, that I have two individual screens instead of one big screen because Ubuntu won't detect two different screens. I am also getting this funny error message sometimes trying to detect two screens. (Please see screen shots attached).
    What can I do?
