Wake on LAN has stopped working
It's on a Mac Mini, but I"m assuming that's not relevant for now, included for completeness.
This used to work.
Run pm-suspend to send it to sleep.
Use a WOL client on another machine.
What's happened in the last 3-6 months, perhaps after a software update, is the power light blinks when sleeping, then when you send the WOL packet the light stays on solidly and you can hear the disk spin up.
But nothing happens - even hitting the CAPS key doesn't cause the light to appear on the keyboard so it's no surprise that I can't switch to a text based login even.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Re: Wake on LAN has stopped working
Actually, it seems it doesn't wake from suspend properly by pressing the power button either - same behaviour.
