Can't open .jnlp file

Hey everyone,

i need help opening a .jnlp file. I have installed java.

When i choose "open with" and Iced tea web start, nothing happends.
When i choose "open with" and OpenJDK 6 or 7, it says "blocked" and some message comes up.

Do i need to be a rocket scientist to open a simple java file on ubuntu or what is the deal?

I would remove openjdk and go to Firefox open tools >addons then install Flash Aid. It will download and install the most current java plugin. then try opening the file again.

I uninstalled Java, installed flashaid and try to open file with firefox.. Nothing happends.. I try to open with icedtea, nothing happends.

What shall i do now?

Ok go to this page and download the correct java for your setup
http://www.java.com/en/download/linux_manual.jsp

then follow the instructions on installing it.
