    Keep pulseaudio from changing output connector?

    Can I prevent pulseaudio from changing the output connector when I plug my headphones in? There's no sound when it's switched to the "Analog Headphones" connector, so it would be great if it would just stay on the "Analog Speakers" connector. I'm using the standard "Internal Audio Analog Stereo device, pulseaudio-equalizer, and the GNOME sound settings application with GNOME 3. Thanks.

    This is a bug apparently, but I couldn't find any solutions from bug reports.

    palanutsa's dirty workaround sorted this problem on my Asus N53SM notebook, thank you
