[0]: Recur has to be used without an object. You have to use "recurrent" for with an object.
[1]: The word "occurrence" shouldn't actually be used here due to how you are perceiving the post you posted. It should actually be "moment" so that the "at which" that comes after it can be removed. Adding "at which" was needed to keep "occurrence" there.
[2]: Lack of "instead" makes this a strange sounding sentence.
[3]: "Of the" is needed here because you used "to the" before the word contrary.
[4]: "and duly assign" is not needed.
