    Re: No WLAN after update

I've already evaluated this one but it's not really a difference. Without 11n_disable=1 there are more speed ups and downs but no real disconnection or very low performance.

There are many user experiences to be found in various forums belonging to very low performance. So I'm happy to go without this.

    Re: No WLAN after update

    Hi again,
Searching over there found info within the BUG 871254. Basically workaorund still and is avoid to use the kernel 3.0.0-17.

I've installed kernel 3.1.4-030104-generic, downloaded from here: Kernel 3.1.4-oneiric

So, you have to install them as usual, in my case was 64 bits:

    Code:
    # sudo dpkg -i linux-headers-3.1.4-030104-generic_3.1.4-030104.201111281851_amd64.deb
    # sudo dpkg -i linux-headers-3.1.4-030104_3.1.4-030104.201111281851_all.deb
    # sudo dpkg -i linux-image-3.1.4-030104-generic_3.1.4-030104.201111281851_amd64.deb
Then reboot and works again with different kernel...

    Code:
    titantux@titan-ThinkPad-T410:~$ dmesg | grep iw
