Brightness and Graphics Card Help.

I have an HP DV6T Quad Edition and the brightness does not change whenever I use the button or anything else. Also The graphics card appears to have installed the Ubuntu drivers for it, but for some reason wobbly windows do not work. How do I fix this? Also if someone can give me like one script that would fix it all, that would be best, seeing as I'm somewhat of a noob. Also, I have been looking for answers to this for months already with no advancements any help would be appreciated.
