A Carafe of Ubuntu
I installed banshee,loaded all my audio onto it, but when I try and play any song the play button flahes to pause button for a while and nothig happens. But Audacious works fine. Is this a know issue? Are there any other good music centres like Banshee that work well with Lubuntu? Thank you.

Try launching banshee from a terminal to see if you get any more descriptive errors. It could be as simple as missing codecs.
