Mac OS X triple boot: ubuntu doesn't boot

    Dear forum,

after searching in the forum, I decided to ask:

I have a MacBookPro and followed this link lifehacker-mac-triple-boot to make a triple boot.

Mac OSX works, Windows 7 works, and I even installed Ubuntu 10.04 without problems. However, after rebooting the machine, Ubuntu refuses to boot.
REfit shows the Penguin logo, which makes me think that it reckons a bootable Linux Partition; also, the Partition Inspector shows a GRUB in the Linux partition; but Ubuntu just refuses to boot.

    Can anyone help me?

    Mac OS X: 10.7.3
    Windows: 7
    Ubuntu: 10.04.4
MacBook Pro: Intel i7, 500 GB

I apologize if this question has already been posted.

@neidisch, I have moved this to the Apple forum where you are more likely to get the help you need. Please do no use variant spellings of "Windows".
