    Question Icon moving

    Hi there

I just installed a program (MEGA5) in my computer, and a launch icon was generated in my Desktop. I dragged it to the launcher and a copy was made there, but the Desktop icon remained. If I send the Desktop icon to the trash the one from the launcher disappears.

How can I move the icon permanently to the launcher without this happening?

    Thanks

Move the launcher generated on the desktop into your "~/.local/share/applications", and drag it from there into your Launcher.

    Regards.

It's in your home directory (indicated by the "~"), and hidden (indicated by the preceding "."); so in Nautilus, you need to press Ctrl+H to see the hidden files/directories.
