    Microsoft not quite getting the whole permissions thing...

    So this is vista trying to delete a file. The guy who posted is amazed because it takes so many confirmations but my personal fave is how despite the user doesn't own the file they can still delete it just by clicking continue one extra time. Where is the password?
    Microsoft claimed improved security and better multi-user support with vista but they don't seem to have worked it out yet. Why is an extra continue going to help at all? It's no more secure than any other windows...

    Is that a big surprise coming from Windows at all? They probably don't even know or understand what's the difference between read and write permissions...
    In the world of Linux, who needs Windows and Gates...

    Got most of my golden beans at an auction on eBay (with a couple of free drinks).
