    Finding USB devices

    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CanonCaptDrv190 I'm trying to set up my printer with this documentation. In one of the steps I need to write in the configuration file the location of the printer in a /dev/usb/* format. How do I list all my devices and find out what devices is /dev/usb/ lp0/lp1 etc. ?

    Re: Finding USB devices

    Perhaps try one of the Linux drivers on this page. They seem newer:

    http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010659.asp

    There's 2.00 and 2.20 at the top of page.

    * BTW, what release are you using? Before 11.10 you could add the Canon repository and installing drivers easy. The instruction to do this are down the page of the link you provided first up. Instructions are under the heading;

    Package Repository ( before 11.10)
