Hello I tried to install Rome total war (3CDs in iso format), but i get this error

Error: -1603 Fatal error during installation

Wine is used for using windows executables in Linux:

i've read it but the problem s different. Before ending with the first iso CD, i receive the message, so i can not install it at all.

I presume it is a legal and bought copy of the game ?

I meant is it a legal copy that does not require circumventing the installs and such using cracks and other methods ?

If it isnt then that is not supported here im afraid

I do own a legal copy and have experienced the same error while trying to install from the discs. They definitely have worked before on other (Windows) computers I owned. Now I'm trying to get them to work on a Ubuntu 11.04 install using WINE 1.2.3
