Opera not working

Hi, I am not sure why but I have been using Opera for quite a while and it has been fine, and now it just won't even start to load up web pages. I have no idea why this might be at all, so any ideas as to where to start looking would be good.

The only useful things I can think to say are:
Opera is opening fine, and I can access anything that is not online
My internet is working fine on firefox
Have already tried removing and re-installing, and updates and upgrades are up to date

Go to opera help files.

Try renaming the ~/.opera folder to force Opera into creating new configuration files.

Thanks howefield, that worked. Do I need to worry about the old config files at all?

The old folder won't affect anything by being there other than taking up some disk space. If you are happy everything is fine and you do not need anything in the old folder, you can delete it.
