That upload failed. The md5sum wasn't the same on my box, so I had to reupload it.
I still even have to post the release announcement.

    sorry about that.

Downloaded the one gig, it just goes to a terminal window, got kde to work by installing xint.
    Am I missing something ?

Should I have got the 1.7 ver ?

I see, it drops to a TTY, not a terminal window. Somehow the weston .deb file depended on a -dev package. (which really should not happen, as I use ldd to determine what they should depend on.)

I worked around that, and should be posting a newer ISO if it works, (which I was going to already as the Hawaii developer fixed hawaii for fbdev)

Did you try the new 1.1GB ISO I just released under September 1st 2013? Unfortunately it seems that whenever I use the development version of Ubuntu as my base, Ubiquity seems to be very quirky.

Lost my hard drive, finally got the 8-30 1.7g installed (on it now) with no quirks and Manjaro 32, need the 64 to try Maui out.

Is there any difference in the 8-30 and the 9-1 iso's ?
