I see progress, you've really been sticking with it Cecil, good for you. I'll look forward to it being ready for mass consumption. Be well my friend.

I DL Veromix and put it in weston.ini, works nice except the side panel.
Thanks
I just updated and tried the Applcation Launcher (RBLOS icon) and it didn't come up so I added :[launcher]
icon=/usr/share/icons/RBOS_icon.png
path=/usr/bin/xwaylandapp plasma-windowed launcher and it pops up but none of the QT Hawaii apts seem to work ?
The original Launcher was: path=/usr/bin/xwaylandapp plasmoidviewer launcher.
Just wondering if I did some thing wrong ?...
They probably aren't built on your system. I recently added the build scripts and menu shortcuts, but yet to push an ISO.
Before I release a new ISO, I want to try to replace as many apps as I can on the panel with Wayland native ones, as piece together a login manager that works on Wayland.

Ok thanks, I'll wait for the next iso.
Nice added icons. What are the 4 names in the panel pull down (right click) ?
Trying not to go off topic here, but it looks like Canonical may have plans other than Wayland, which to me seems pretty stupid since if they don't have the resources to contribute to Wayland, then how will they be able to roll their own display server?
Anyway, here's the article:

There has to be some mistake in that. Perhaps they mean they're not using the weston display server. There's no way they're going to be able to port all those toolkits, and creating new backends, especially when everyone else is working on Wayland.
Perhaps this display server is a Wayland based one
