Well, if it runs well under Cedega then I won't have an issue, but an installer would be AWESOME!

i think third party installers are illegal, but if it does work i would be happy to right a script that downloads and installs the demo

Prey already works great* in recent versions of WINE, so why waste your time asking for a Linux version, especially when 3D Realms has already said "NO" a hundred times?
* If you have sound stuttering, I figured out how to fix it.
