Do you mean overclock it? What is your processor type/speed and what are the game's requirements?

Hi, I would not recommend overclocking with your system specs you will create more heat and over clocking will probably burn you processor out.
    Thanks

    Re: boost cpu speed

Don't even attempt overclocking. You're using an old laptop -- and those have a hard enough time working with the heat they generate under normal use. Overclocking, even if it CAN be done, is going to overheat your laptop and cause it to crash.

Also, can't tell if your video meets minimum specs -- since you list two very different video cards.

And, finally, no Ubuntu version newer than 8.10 will run the proprietary drivers for either video card you specified. You will be stuck now using the open source drivers and they have little or no 3D video acceleration.
    Ubuntu 20.04, Mint 19.10; MS Win10 Pro.
Will not respond to PM requests for support -- use the forums.
