how to use wine?

Hey guys
I am now have new problem with Ubuntu 11.04 but I still like it

I need to run .exe files using wine just by double click on it..Is this possible ?

Once wine is installed, an .exe file should just open and begin installing. Provided that the windows app is supported. Not all are. Here is the link to the app database.

I install wine and try to run the .exe file it pop up this message

1. Right-click on the file in Nautilus.
2. Choose "Properties" from the menu that pops up.
3. Click on the "Permissions" tab.
4. Check the box that says "Allow executing file as program"

thanx for your help but when I Check the box it keep checked for 1 second and return back unchecked....what is this??
