[Ubuntu for toddlers] How to have a "view" on a folder?

    Hi all,

I'm setting up a session for my 2 and a half years old daughter. I'm using Openbox on the top of Ubuntu Oneiric, with Cairo-Dock as a launcher.

I want her session to be as simple as possible so that she does not get confused.

One of the launchers in Cairo-dock currently opens Nautilus in her Videos folder to let her (simple-) click on a video to open it with vlc (--fullscreen --play-and-exit).

I've suppressed the Sidebar and Main toolbar, but the drop-down menus remain. So she could in principle click on it and mass things up (and get confused).

I'm looking for a way to have a simple "view" on a folder (i.e. without being able to navigate in the directory structure) that would display thumbnails of the videos, so she can choose the one she wants to launch. Would you guys know a way to do this, even using a specific program, or by disabling the drop-down menus in Nautilus (on a per user basis).

    Thanks in advance,
    Antoine
